Toolbars

Lands main toolbars are arranged in 3 tabs:

Lands Objects Toolbar
1. Objects: commands to insert Lands elements in the model: vegetation species, civil work elements, urban furniture blocks and terrains.


Documentation Toolbar2. Documentation: commands to create the 2D documentation of the project: watering system elements, lists, labels, dimensions, zones...


Tools Toolbar3. Tools: miscellaneous Lands commands: Edit Panel, Plant database, Image Filters application...

Edit Panel

Edit Panel

Run the laEditPanel command to open the Lands Edit panel.

This Panel offers all edit options in real time for all objects in the model.

1. Toolbar line:

  • 2D and 3D buttons: show the Lands elements in 2D and 3D respectively.
  • Set Viewpoint command
  • Walk mode
  • Elevate to terrain: enables the automatic placement of objects on a Terrain surface, when they are being inserted
  • Filters
  • Update: updates automatically any modification applied on a Lands object.

2. Object selection list: this area shows the objects being selected in the model. When no objects are selected, the list displays the different vegetation
species and Urban furniture blocks existing in the model.

3. Edit: area shows the Edit commands available for the selected objects.

4. Object properties: this area is organized in tabs that show the different properties and options of each object type. When no object is selected, this area shows the Document properties.

Commands

All Lands Design commands are prefixed with la to help you find them easily. Type la in the Rhino Command line to search for a specific Lands command.
